Autumn Winter 2016
Our Winter 2016 collection draws on the soft shapes and rich textures of 1970s mens tailoring to create a contemporary wardrobe that offers a contemporary twist on American classics.
Inspired by the wardrobes of icons like Steve McQueen and Paul Newman the new collection takes the fuller details of the era’s tailoring, such as broad or peaked lapels and softer, often pleated trousers, and softens the aesthetic with lightly constructed shoulders and a suppressed silhouette.
It reflects a changing mode of dress, both in and out of the workplace where even the suiting feels like something that could maybe step out of the office.
Knitwear also plays an important part in the range, with polos and roll-necks in rich earthen tones to compliment the deep charcoal and navy tones of the suiting and the bolder patterns of the jackets. Jackets this season have been designed to feel at home with a dress trouser as well as with a piece of denim.
