Comic Relief
This week Monty has been hitting me up for some pocket money so he can "buy an app".
It seems perfectly normal in this day and age that you can go online and purchase something that is instantly yours to own.
It does seem awfully easy though and lets face it slightly less romantic than money orders and mail order catalogues.
I love this ad from a comic book selling all manner of pointless things, pre app paraphernalia like squirting pens and fake cockroaches.
There was something great about the eager anticipation of waiting for your whoopee cushion or Sea Monkeys to turn up, wondering if the money order had been sent (or received).
I'm sure it helped me understand the basic premise of commerce, buying an app; not so much.
