Flannel Trousers

For Autumn/Winter flannel plays an important role, so it's a good time to brush up on its importance.
Flannel is generally made with worsted yarn, which uses longer fibres, and is then combed. What generally distinguishes a flannel is the milling process, where the cloth is beaten about so that the fibres break down, producing a fuzzy "milled" effect.
Flannel isn’t new by any natural stretch of the imagination, but it has become very relevant again in the modern man's wardrobe. We have selected a contemporary light weight, more suited to our Antipodean winter.
It is the perfect pairing with a Glencheck Blazer or Suede Jacket. Soft without lacking structure, it makes the ideal odd trouser and is a smart move away from a cotton chino as the temperature drops.
We have three colours available ready-to-wear, Charcoal is the default option, with its slight blue undertone, it works perfectly with all classic tailoring, especially a Navy Blazer. Cocoa offers a nice bitter brown hue with a hint of black, while Taupe works best with warmer autumnal tones.
In addition, we have a strong selection of options in our made-to-measure offer.
