Head Spin
When I started Crane Brothers I never dreamed that the business could be as successful as it has become.
Tonight we are having an evening for Sydney based clients in our new showroom that has just opened. Today has been busy with staff conducting fittings and we have a full diary for tommrow as well.
This morning when I woke up 2 hours earlier than normal and planned my day and cleared overnight emails it dawned on me that there was a lot going on; Yesterday I met with GQ and Manuscript and today started by being shot for an editorial feature by Sydney based photographer Guy Coombes, who ironically never shot me whilst based in New Zealand. We are getting great media interest and support in Australia which is exciting for the brands expansion.
Next week we re launch Gubb & Mackie with a brand new website we have been developing as well as starting on Winter 2013, it feels like we just had 2012.
It is beginning to feel like everything in my head is starting to take shape and after 12 years of risk taking, breath holding and mistakes that things are starting to click. I am proud of the Crane Brothers brand, our staff, our stores, our clothes and our reputation
