Kirk Originals "The Optical Collection"
by Murray Crane
We have been repeatedly asked for optical frames and are pleased to be stocking a very limited selection of Kirk Originals opticals in-store and online.
"The Optical Collection” was initially launched to complement the brand's ever popular sunglasses. It is inspired by trailblazers from the Golden Age of Advertising and references icons such as Georgie Lois, Emmett McBain and legendary American Graphic Designer Robert Brownjohn who collectively brought a new visual language to a post WW2 world and influenced a cultural shift in terms of design.
Kirk's aesthetic very much mirrors our own; quality materials and fittings, minimal embellishment and no visible logos combined with strong and timeless design means this is the perfect optical frame for professionals and creatives alike.
We have an initial edit of 5 styles - Creed, Bridewell, Blackfriars Hays & Warwick. Each frame is named after streets adjacent to the brands headquarters in Blackfriars, London. All frames are available to order and we can assist with a referral to an optician should you need it.
