Laboured : Campbell Live
Last night was a chance for Labour leader David Cunliffe to open up his home to the nation on Campbell Live.
It wasn't his holiday home but his actual house in Herne Bay complete with environmentally sound chickens, bees and over achieving wife.
Cunliffe was at pains to point out that the house was predominantly paid for by the fruits of his wifes labour working as an environmental lawyer for ( it seems ) many of the state owned assets he is so vehemently opposed to selling.
The whole thing was fairly safe and perhaps a little boring.
Cunliffe seems very ill at ease with who he is and this shows.
