Lantern Festival
Given the high proportion of people opposed to the pending sale of the "Crafar" farms to a Chinese company you'd expect organisers of the Lantern Festival in Auckland's Albert Park to be worried about attendance numbers.
Thankfully we aren't all as Xenophobic as it seems and most of us are excited about this celebration.
29% of the Auckland population is now Asian and I think that this festival celebrates their contribution to our society.
So if you are around Auckland in the next couple of weeks make the time to pop along, it’s a great event.
If you want to remain a myopic, whingeing, xenophobic twat then don't.
