Liberty Taken
Liberty of London have been hand printing fabric since 1875.
Their cottons have always been dyed and printed in Scotland, Cumbria and Lancashire using traditional techniques.
One of their most famous developments was the introduction of delicate pastel tints or 'Art Colours' which became widely known as Liberty Colours.
Today Liberty still produce many of these archival prints.
This season Gubb and Mackie are using these very special fabrics in their Summer collection.
