Life Lessons
If there are lessons I have learnt from working in Fashion over the last 25 plus years they are that nothing is entirely original and that you should never throw anything away.
When I was a lot younger than I am now my penchant for expensive wristwatches was not as finely honed as it is today but my horological thirst still needed to be quenched.
I remember my last (non Rolex) purchase vividly.
I paid $700.00, which was a real stretch at the time, for an Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark 3.
This was a watch I wore every day for nearly 4 years before using it as a trade on my first Seamaster GMT.
I wish I had held on to it now for both emotional and fiscal reasons.
