Made In Italy
Post-War Italy was in many ways the birthplace of modern menswear as we know it today.
Many of these household names started in the late 1940's and 50's.
Industrialisation of what was up to then a very artisanal and regional industry meant that Italian Fashion started to expand on a global scale.
Fashion and Design have always been strong bedfellows so it is no surprise that graphic design also went through a revolution of its own during this period.
Made in Italy is a new book celebrating post-war graphic design.
The limited edition Made in Italy book is described as a " curated selection of beautiful undiscovered Italian graphic design", all printed on the finest Italian stocks.
Launching on the evening of Thursday 11th June, 2015, the private view will debut the Made in Italy exhibition at Protein in Shoreditch, home to fashionably diverse eateries, quirky independent shops, trendy bars and a rich community of creativity including art, fashion and graphic design.
The exhibition will be open to all during the day on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June, 2015.
