Maison Hellard
Nathan Hellard founded Maison Hellard with a clear philosophy centred on quality, service, and attentive listening.
The House specialises in linen grown in France, partnering with Terre De Lin, a cooperative dedicated to protecting French flax growers. Located in Upper Normandy, a region renowned for its ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality textile flax, the cooperative represents 15% of the world’s premium flax production and plays a key role in the upstream flax/linen textile supply chain.
While much of the linen used in Italy, from mills like Solbiati, showcases vibrant tones, Hellard Linens stand apart with a more subdued colour palette inspired by the French countryside and its rich history.
The collection includes a range of muted hues, featuring not only shades of blue but also rare tones of olive and brown. These colours possess a soft, slightly "off" quality, with each yarn exclusively dyed to Maison Hellard's unique colour palette.
