Popover Shirt
With preppy roots dating back to the 1960s, the standard sports shirt was made more interesting by ending the placket at the bottom of the chest.
This became the popover (deriving its name from “popping” it on over your head).
The popover is a great smart-casual style; versatile enough to put with an unstructured blazer.
The style cannot be unbuttoned fully, so make sure it’s not too tight to put on or take off and that you aren't in too much of a hurry to get undressed.
