So my worse Christmas news reporting goes to the New Zealand Herald for running this great human interest story:
An American man has taken being a pet lover to new heights (lows).
Wheel-chair bound drug addict Robert Edward DeShields, 55, has been jailed for 10 years for having sex with a puppy while high on crystal meth.
Apparently the dog is extraordinarily fearful of men and may never fully recover from its physical injuries.
