Sad Sack
Looks like the amblyopic Paper Mache edifice has finally been put into retirement.
Whilst it is sad, I think we need to get over it. Yes, it's part of the tradition of Christmas, but there are lots of other things we can celebrate.
The cost is unjustified and there are so many other things that the installation funds could be better spent on.
My vote is to commission local artists to produce permanent works for us all to own and enjoy that don’t require dismantling and road closures, and last longer than 3 weeks.
