Short Memories
Who really cares about all the back room deals that needed to be done to keep the Hobbit in New Zealand.
Obviously not the hundreds of people gainfully employed on sets and in workshops around the country. I didn't see any suppliers morally obligated to boycott filming or actors who turned down parts.
The government has obviously done what they felt was necessary to make sure that the Hobbit was filmed here. What deals were done to get the Rugby World Cup and what's the difference?.
John Key as Prime Minister is obviously a deal maker, it's in his DNA. Isn't that what the country needs right now?
I find the whole argument tedious and biased.
