Polka Dots have long been embraced by Fashion Designers.
Most recently the collaboration between artist Yayoi Kusama and Louis Vuitton springs to mind.
Deriving from the 1850's Polka Dot seems to derive from the Polka which became popular from around the 1830's across Europe. With it's Bohemian roots the dance came to symbolise an element of freedom and frivolity.
Talioring has had a long love affair with the humble dot, mainly as a lining in many of our suits.
