Top Effort
Peter Carey has been cutting hair in central Auckland for the last 52 years. His clientele includes many of the country's top barristers, judges, mayors and business leaders. This December will be his last as he has made the decision to stop charging his clippers and head to a warmer part of the country for more time fishing.
He has seen the rise of the mullet, perm, highlighting and the hipster as well as the proliferation of "shops" all pretending to do what he has achieved 6 days a week for the last half century.
Peter is a great Barber, an old school cutter with great patter, incredibly reliable and personable; I will miss my weekly visits immensely.
