Triathlon Arrogance
One again Auckland City has managed to piss off many of its inner city ratepayers and business owners by staging a major event over a long weekend.
To make it worse this is a commercial venture that benefits greatly from staging this event but pays no compensation to the businesses it adversely affects by riding rough shod over them with permitted parking restrictions, road closures and poor crowd management.
Will council never learn that major events create more harm than they do good?
