Webbs Car Auction, November 2022
by Murray Crane
Another favourite is the 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL W113. The launch of the W113 SL models were originally revealed at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show, with production lasting until 1971. In total nearly 50,000 SL's were built and the vehicle has earned its nickname 'Pagoda', inspired by the cars patented hard-top. This example looks excellent in its forest green.
The live auction will be held on Sunday 27 November, 2pm at the Due Drop Centre, Manukau. For the full catalogue of vehicles and auction details visit webbs.co.nz
