Where Is Goliath ?
The fight for the Labour Party leadership is interesting.
Without divulging my political preference I believe David Shearer is the man for the job.
He has no real political experience (it worked for John Key) which I believe makes his thinking fresh and more objective and he was practically handpicked by Helen Clark who still rates on most opinion polls as an option for preferred Prime Minister.
He is quite ballsy and seems to possess a modicum of cunning, possibly picked up from dealing with corrupt Somalia Warlords in his previous role.
Isn't that what you want in a leader?
I am not saying I want a Labour led government but I believe that a Shearer led opposition is a good thing for the Country.
